About this project
This flat roof was re-covered in a torch-on felt system, laid over a prepared deck with attention to the falls so water runs to the outlet instead of pooling. Standing water is the enemy of a flat roof, so getting the drainage right matters as much as the membrane itself.
We detailed the upstands, trims and outlet correctly and finished the edges neatly, a flat roof that should give many years of reliable service.
