About this project
With scaffold up for safe access, this roof was stripped right back and re-covered from the membrane up. A strip-and-re-cover is the thorough option: it lets us check the timbers, replace anything perished, and lay a fresh, consistent covering across the whole roof.
Everything from the underlay to the ridge was renewed and finished properly, leaving a roof that looks the part and, more importantly, keeps the weather out.
